Do you enjoy working with youth and have a need to give back to the community? The Stateline YMCA is currently hiring seasonal, part-time Youth Basketball Site Leads. Candidates can expect:

• Games are Fridays 5:30pm-7:30pm, and Saturdays from 9am-1pm
• Paid training

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure site is set-up prior to beginning of games and programming. Cleaning-up when games/programming are complete.
• Coordinate referees and umpires to ensure coverage at each game. Assist as needed.
• Responsible for maintaining timely and transition of games and programs.
• Ensure spectators are conducting themselves in a safe and respectable manner.
• Uphold all standards, rules, and regulations that generally apply to the sport, as well s those specific to the Stateline Family YMCA league.
• Maintain positive relationships with children, parents, volunteers, and other staff.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience

• High school graduate or equivalent required
• Minimum 1-year related experience preferred

Skills

• Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community.
